Privacy Statement

Alpha v1.7.1-RC3 — effective May 2026

What this covers

This statement applies to the Nexus Origins public shell at nexus-origins.com. It describes what data is collected, how it is used, and what it is not used for.

Demo case data

All cases available in the alpha evaluation are synthetic and AI-generated. They contain no real personal data, real infrastructure details, or real incident data. Case payloads are labeled source_type: ai_generated.

Feedback submissions

Feedback submitted during alpha evaluation is collected solely for product improvement purposes. Submissions are reviewed by the Nexus Origins team and are not shared with third parties. Feedback is retained for the duration of the alpha program and deleted within 30 days of program close. Do not include personal data, credentials, or confidential system details in feedback submissions.

Website analytics and performance measurement

This site uses Vercel-provided, cookie-free Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate page usage and public-site performance.

Vercel Web Analytics may collect anonymized page-view and visitor-environment information such as page route, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, country, and similar aggregate usage signals. Vercel states that Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not store data that identifies or reconstructs an individual visitor session across sites.

Vercel Speed Insights may collect real-user performance measurements such as Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS, TTFB, FCP), route, URL, browser, device type, network speed, country, and related performance attribution. These measurements are used to understand public-site performance.

Nexus Origins does not use this telemetry as a public control plane, operator approval surface, or sovereign Nexus status source. Analytics and performance data are not used to grant access, make governance decisions, or operate Nexus Core.

Operational logs

Internal alpha operational logs (agent activity, NATS message traces, vault queries) are retained locally on operator-controlled infrastructure and are rotated after 30 days. These internal logs are separate from the public-site analytics and performance telemetry described above. Operational logs may include case IDs and query strings but do not contain personal data by design.

Error monitoring

This site uses Sentry for frontend error and session-replay monitoring. Sentry may capture JavaScript errors, stack traces, and a sample of anonymized session replay data (2% of sessions, 100% on error). Sentry does not receive case payloads, alpha evaluation content, or operator-controlled infrastructure data.

Alpha scope

This statement governs the v1.7.1-RC3 public shell. It is reviewed and updated at each release milestone. It will be revised before any broader or production release. The effective date of this version is 2026-05-11.

Contact

For data handling questions, privacy inquiries, or requests to access, port, or delete evaluation data, contact nexusorigins@proton.me with the subject line Privacy — Nexus Alpha. Note: feedback submissions are not linked to evaluator identity by default; individual access or portability requests may not be technically feasible and will be assessed on request. General product feedback should be submitted via the Alpha Feedback page instead.
